Colin Teague

Background

He grew up in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire and studied at Redroofs Theatre School and the London International Film School.

Career

He is most associated with, being the first person to have directed for the main show and both of its spin-offs, and the pilot episode of. Because of a fall he took down some stairs in 2007, he was known on the set as "Tumblin" Teague." In 2009 & 2011 Colin was Bafta nominated foreign In 2012 he directed The Town a three-part drama for Independent Television. In 2013 he directed for British Broadcasting Corporation/STARZ which gained three Golden Globe nomination.

Achievements

• In 2011 he directed Shirley, a biopic on the legendary Shirley Bassey which won a Cymru Bafta for best single drama.
