Rejoined the Canadians spring of 1918 and was wounded in September.
Lectured in the United States under British Mission November and December 1918. Returned to England to make study of European reconstruction problems. Lectured in every state of the Union on the results of the war, 1919-1920.
At request of Herbert Hoover visited stricken areas of Central and Eastern Europe and reported thereon.
