Constantin Piliuta was born on February 4, 1929 in Botosani, Romania. He was a son of Ilie Piliuta and Florica (Florescu) Piliuta.
Since 1945 to 1949, Constantin Piliuta studied at Bucharest National University of Arts, where his mentor was Alexander Ciucurencu.
In 1956, Constantin Piliuta held his first solo exhibition in Bucharest. During his lifetime, he continued to take part in numerous exhibitions, which were held in Moscow, Delhi, Budapest, Zagreb and others.
