In 1982, Vidanes started her broadcast career for the Banahaw Broadcasting Corporation (British Broadcasting Corporation-2) as a production assistant for the shows Big Ike"s Happening and Vilma in Person (Very Important Person). She started working with ABS-Christian Broadcasting Network when the network reopened in 1986 as an Associate Producer. She also served as a Managing Director for ABS-Christian Broadcasting Network television Production from 2001 to 2009.
She was responsible for the conceptualization, production and management of all television Entertainment programs on ABS-Christian Broadcasting Network Channel 2.
She was appointed Head of Channel 2 Mega Manila Management for ABS-Christian Broadcasting Network effective in 2009 after Charo Santos-Concio promoted to become president and chief operating officer of the company. In 2016, Vidanes was appointed as the chief operating officer for broadcast division of ABS-Christian Broadcasting Network effective February 1.
This was happened one month after the appointment of Carlo Katigbak as the network"s new president and Chief Executive Officer. Under her position as a chief operating officer of broadcast, she will also manage the development of new concepts for ABS-Christian Broadcasting Network channel 2 and ABS-Christian Broadcasting Network TVplus channels Yey, CineMo, and Knowledge Channel, together with ABS-Christian Broadcasting Network CCO Charo Santos-Concio.
