He is the current primate of the Old Catholic Confederation and its archbishop for the United States. He is chancellor and professor of philosophy and theology at the Graduate School of Philosophy and Theology of Florida in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is also an adjunct instructor at Community College of Philadelphia.
De Paulo is the primate of the Old Catholic Confederation (formed in 2013) and its Archbishop of the United States.
Later that year, he was installed as pastor in East McKeesport, Pennsylvania. De Paulo was the rector (2012–2014) of the Collegium Augustininaum Graduate School of Philosophy and Theology, incorporated in Florida.
