Education

Creon attended Pretoria Boys High, and matriculated at Crawford College. Graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Arts (Fine Arts) Information Design Degree from the University of Pretoria, where as a student he was part of Winner of Oppi Koppi Music Festival Campaign (group project), and was selected for Student D&AD Awards.

While his sojourn in Paris Creon attended a course at the Alliance Francais..

Career

Currently a Senior Creative & Animation Lead at one of South Africa`s Top branding companies Grid Worldwide .

Creon has designed Storyboards, animates Audiovisual projects (Avs) across a wide range of industries, from Medical Health Schemes to launching Bank Divisions.

• Has animated and directed a music video for Kelly Rowlands’s anthem for the FIFA Soccer World Cup 2010, hosted in South Africa, sponsored by MTN.

• Built a loyal and returning client base.

• Has been digital content creator and account manager for various small to medium size businesses in Johannesburg focusing mainly on the food service industry'.

Creon has his own Creonexis Project , which has included the curating and designing of the digital publication `FiveSIX - a tribute to his Father Eftychios Eftychis`s " talented Mind" .

Additionally, with his father Eftychios , Creon has designed Eftychios`s authorial work "My Pretoria An Architectural and Artistic Odyssey" showcasing Eftychios sketches of public and domestic heritage buildings in Pretoria, South Africa, and is now archived and available at the University of Pretoria Library.

She has lectured in Classics at the University of South Africa and in modern Greek at the University of Pretoria

George Rockas was a highly respected member of the East Rand Greek community of Guateng. He was married to Stavroula (nee Kotsakis) and was father to Basil Rockas, Dimitra Rockas-Eftychis , Angelique Rockas and Georgina Rockas. He was responsible for saving family relatives from Artemision, and families from his wife`s village Kalamara , Messinia from poverty by bringng them to South Africa and offering them work and support.

Stavroula Rockas

Stavroula Rockas was the well respected matriarch of the Rockas (Georgiou) clan in the East Rand Greek community Guateng, South Africa. Following her husband`s death she oversaw the management of the Rockas family property portfolio with a sturdy hand & business acumen aided by her eldest daughter Dimitra (Rockas) Eftychis an academic. On the domestic front she devoted her life to being the emotional support to her son Basil.
