Career
Cristiano was drafted by the Tampa Bay Lightning in the sixth round (170th overall) of the 2014 National Hockey League Entry Draft. Junior Cristiano DiGiacinto lived in Hamilton, Ontario, he played for his local Hamilton Reps American Automobile Association team DiGi was not picked in the OHL Draft and was even cut after he tried out for the Erie Otters.
After spending time back playing for his local American Automobile Association team, he was signed as a free agent by the Windsor Spitfires, where he had a great rookie season.
The year after, he was awarded as the Assistant Captain. He was then drafted in the 6th Round of the 2015 National Hockey League Entry Draft.
