Hayes, who grew up in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan region, is a pageant veteran, having completed in numerous other pageants before winning the Mission Michigan United States of America crown.

Her first placement came in the Mission Michigan Teen United States of America pageant when she placed in the semi-finals. She returned the following year and placed in the finals in the same pageant. After taking a year off, Hayes competed in the Mission Michigan United States of America 2004 pageant in late 2003.
She placed fourth runner-up to Stacey Lee of Rochester Hills.
lieutenant was her fourth attempt at a Mission Universe Organization state crown. During her reign Hayes resided in Novi, Michigan and worked as a cosmetologist in Northville, Michigan.
She represented Michigan in the nationally televised Mission United States of America 2005 pageant broadcast live from Baltimore, Maryland on April 11, 2005. In late 2005, Hayes passed on her crown to Danelle Gay of Lapeer.
Upon completion of her pageant reign, Hayes began a career in modeling, acting (Screen Actors Guild), and hosting.
She also went on to discover and develop budding talent with her company Image Is Design, Limited Liability Company. from 2006-2013. With Bachelors Degree in Business and experience on both sides of the camera, Hayes moved to Los Angeles in early 2014 to enhance her career in entertainment. In 2015 she started Triniti Entertainment, Limited Liability Company where Technology meets Entertainment.
Triniti"s team and is currently in development their first major technology/television production called The Talent Exchange.
