DAVENPORT, Cyril James H. was born on June 5, 1848 in Stirling. Son of Captain Charles Davenport, D.L., 1st Foot, late of Bramall Hall, Stockport, and grandson of Admiral Sir S. P. Davenport, Knight Commander of Hanover, Companion of the Bath.
