Career
Member, “Mesame dasi”, Georgia’s first Social-Democratic organisation. Tiflis Russian Social-Democratic Workers’ Party Committee deleg at 2nd Russian Social-Democratic Workers’ Party Congress. Started out as “Iskra” Bolshevik but reconsidered his views and by the end of the Congress was voting with the “Iskra” Mensheviks.
After the Congress joined Mensheviks and protested against the central Party organs elected at the Congress. Early October 1903 the Caucasian Joint Russian Social-Democratic Workers’ Party Committee relieved him of all Party work because of these objections. 1918-1921 held various senior posts during period of democratic government in Georgia
After establishment of Soviet regime in Geo worked for Commissariat of Finance, did research and engaged in journalism.
