Career
Hamzagić played his college career in the United States at Saint Louis University and spent 2008 with the Chicago Fire Premier of the USL Premier Development League. He was drafted (24th overall) by New England Revolution in the 2009 Master of Library Science SuperDraft. After trialling with the club during the pre-season, Hamzagić decided to return home to Europe and sign with FK Sarajevo, a team playing in the Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
After a successful 2009-2010 season, Hamzagić was called up to play in the international friendly match against Poland for his home country Bosnia and Herzegovina.
He has yet to debut for the national team
