Career
He joined Pontypridd from his local Abercwmboi Reconstruction Finance Corporation club, playing with the Pontypridd Academy in 2001 and then with the senior squad in 2003. Initially playing on the wing, Lockyer moved to the inside centre position, contributing to the club"s Welsh Cup victories of 2006, 2011, 2013 and 2014
He transferred to Neath Reconstruction Finance Corporation in 2007, participated in that club"s double-championship-winning team, though his appearances were limited by injuries.
