Resident in neurosurgery St. Mary's Hospital, Seoul, 1971-1975. Chief neurosurgery Capital Armed Forces Hospital, 1976-1981. Assistant professor Catholic Medical College, 1982-1986, associate professor, 1987-1992, professor, since 1993, director, since 1999.

Consultant neurosurgery Capital Armed Forces General Hospital, 1991.
