In 1994 Damion studied at Bates College in Lewiston, Maine, United States. In four years he became a Bachelor. In 1988 he was a student of the Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, United States. In a year he received a degree of the Master of Arts in the area of elementary education and teaching.
Over the duration of his career in education, Damion Frye has come to recognize the importance of patience. He acknowledges the hurdles he faces every day and knows that his main priority is to identify the best means of facilitating the long-term success of students as the school year progresses.

He worked there until 2011. In this year he became a director of mathematics at New York City Department of Education in New York City, United States. He worked there for two years. From 2013 to 2016 he was a special assistant at Newark Public Schools.
In 2016 he worked as a principal at Seth Boyden Elementary School in South Orange, New Jersey, United States. he worked there until 2018. Since 2018 he works as an acting lead administrator at M.E.T.S. Charter School in Jersey City, New Jersey, United States. Also, he works as a middle, high school principal at M.E.T.S.
