His most famous work is the musical bare, which has had two Office-Broadway productions: one in 2004 (called bare: a popular opera), and a revival in 2012 (called bare: the musical), with some new songs and lyrics. A resident of Los Angeles, California, he appeared in a 2001 documentary featuring six gay men attending the Burning Manitoba festival, called On the Business. On August 13, 2013, Intrabartolo died suddenly in Arizona.
He was 39 years old.
