Dan was draft from Louisiana State University in the 8th round of the 1977 NFL draft. From this rather humble draft position, Dan managed to earn a spot on the AFC Pro Bowl (alternate) in both 1985 and 1986. Dan Alexander resides in Iberville Parish, Louisiana, and is the owner-operator of Nick"s Package Liquor and Lounge.
