Education

In 1967 Dan received a Bachelor of Science in Photography from the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago, Illinois, United States. Then he received a Master of Fine Arts in Photography from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in Chicago, Illinois, United States, in 1969.

Career

From 1970 to 1971 Dan worked as a photography and film instructor at the State University of New York in New Paltz, New York, United States. In 1972 he became an assistant professor of photography at Columbia-Greene Community College in Hudson, New York, United States. He held this position until 1979.

In 1976 Dan was a photography instructor at Somerset County College in Somerville, New York, United States. Since 1979 Dan was a photography instructor at the Junior College of Albany in Albany, New York, United State.
