Insurance, Oil and Gas, State and Federal Taxation, Real Estate, Probate, Commercial, Corporate, Health Care, Banking, Administrative, Negligence and Workers Compensation Law. (1918-1976)
On January 1, 1944, John C. Satterfield (Later, President of the American Bar Association) and Jack H. Ewing, fellow classmates at the University of Mississippi School of Law, formed the law firm of Satterfield and Ewing.
From the very beginning, the firm was successful and the demand for the services of the firm grew.
The firm grew into the present firm of Shell, Buford, Bufkin, Callicutt and Perry. The firm now serves the entire state, offering a wide range of legal services.
The firm encourages continuing professional development with all partners and associates participating in continuing legal education seminars, professional association activities and civic affairs The firm is noted for its outstanding litigation skills.
