Dana Rosendorff is an Australian actress who hails from Perth, Western Australia.

Education

Born in Perth, she attended Methodist Ladies" College, Perth in Western Australia. After high school she studied for a summer at Tisch School of the Arts, New York University in the Stonestreet Film and Television program until she was accepted into the West Australian Academy of Performing Arts which hails alumni from the likes of Hugh Jackman, Jai Courtney, Frances O"Connor, Tim Minchin and Marcus Graham.

Career

Rosendorff is best known for her role as Verite in the Australian feature film Verite

From a very young age Rosendorff began to work in film, the very first of which being the highly acclaimed short film Through My Eyes which she starred in at the age of nine years. Dana Rosendorff wrote and starred in her own successful web series The Chronicles of a Manitoba Child starring Jessica Rose (Lonelygirl 15) and YouTube sensation Taryn Southern. Rosendorff has also appeared in other notable television shows such as the hit series, Glee.

But most recently Dana starred in the feature film Deserted starring Mischa Barton (The OC), Winter Avenue Zoli (Sons of Anarchy), Trent Ford (Gosford Park), Lance Henriksen (Aliens), Jake Busey (Starship Troopers), Sebastian Bach (Skid Row), Jackson Davis (Lonelygirl 15) and Gerry Bednob (The 40 Year Old Virgin).

Achievements

  • After graduation from WAPPA, Rosendorff was cast as the lead in Verite directed by Adrian Cabrie of Trunctated Pictures and then went on to work in a number of films such as The Course directed by Miranda Edmonds starring Trilby Glover (The Starter Wife), Grace and The Storm directed by Christopher Baldi, Bitter Art directed by Michael Hatch, Amelia"s 25th directed by Martín Yernazian starring acclaimed director Robert Rodriguez, Academy award nominee Jennifer Tilly, Danny Trejo (Machete), Margaret Cho (Drop Dead Diva) and Electra Avellan (Grindhouse).
