Danam Nagender is an Indian politician who was formerly Member of the Legislative Assembly for Khairatabad Assembly Constituency, Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India.
Career
He was also Minister for Labour, Employment, Training & Factories, Industrial Training Institutes. He represents the Indian National Congress party. He lost it in the 2014 assembly elections.
In the 2004 Andhra Pradesh state Assembly elections, he left the Indian National Congress (Incorporated) for the Telugu Desam Party (TDP).
After winning from Asifnagar on the TDP ticket, he resigned his seat and left the TDP in an effort to get a place in the cabinet of Y. South. Rajasekhareddy through re-election as an Incorporated Modern Language Association. Nagender was inducted into the cabinet for the first time by YSR in 2009 and held the portfolio of Health and Medical Services and continued in the same portfolio in the cabinet of Konijeti Rosaiah.

Doctorate Nagender was elected from Asifnagar assembly constituency in 1994, 1999 and 2004 as a Member of the Legislative Assembly.

He is Powerful leader with strong base in Hyderabad city, he was an Ex-Labour Minister and he has had mass support from poor in different parts of the city Basti"s most of them from Film Nagar area and Deverakonda Basti, Khyratabad, NBT Nagar basti, which his main Right Hand is Chada Ravi Kumar and Left hand is Thirumalesh Naidu and Raj Kumar.
