Career
He is currently playing in the American Hockey League (AHL) with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms. During the 2014-2015 QMJHL season while playing with the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada, Martel scored 48 goals and 54 assists, and was named to the QMJHL First All-Star Team. He was further honoured when he was named the 2014-2015 CHL Humanitarian of the Year.
Martel signed a three-year entry level contract with the Philadelphia Flyers on March 10, 2015.
