Career

Civ. engineer on public works, New York, 1871-1881. Private practice, Kansas City, Missoury, 1881-1890. Chief engineer Kansas City, Fort Scott & Memphis R.R. and associate companies, 1890-1901.

Construction engineering, 1901-1918. Engaged in government work, 1918 (retired). Principal works: Cable rys. of Washington, District of Columbia, and Kansas City, Missoury, also various bridges and industrial plants.
