Daniel studied at Technology University in Iasi, Romania. In 1980 he received a degree of the Doctor of Philosophy. In 1985 he was a student of the Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iasi in Iasi, Romania. He became a Doctor of Philosophy.

Daniel worked as a Professor at Technology University in 1980. Since 1998 he worked as a Professor at the University of Iasi in Iasi, Romania.
