Career
After his missionary service, he graduated with a bachelor"s degree in accounting from Brigham Young University. He also served as president of the Ecuador Guayaquil North Mission from 1991 to 1994. In addition to Mexico and Ecuador, Johnson has lived in Honduras, Uruguay, Venezuela, Utah, Minnesota, Texas and Dominican Republic.
Johnson previously served as president of the church"s Caribbean Area and since 2009 has been president of the Mexico Area.
