Kazimierski received an MA in Theology from the Catholic Academy of Theology in Poland. He also studied at Vancouver School of Art, Canada (1975-77), Ontario College of Art, Toronto, Canada (1977-78), and York University, Toronto, where he earned an MFA in 1980.
Working at the International Center of Photography, Kazimierski was an instructor at York University in 1979. He is especially interested in nonsilver processes, particularly multiple gum printing. His previous work included photojournalism, street photography and series on Mardi Gras in New Orleans and the Hutterite colony in Saskatchewan, Canada.
Kazimierski is a member of SPE.
