According to Filmmaker magazine, "Mulloy, a three time British Academy of Film and Television Arts award winner for his shorts work, is one of the world"s most well regarded short filmmakers." His short films Antonio"s Breakfast, Dad and Baby premiered at Sundance and Son premiered at Slamdance where it received the Grand Jury Award. Mulloy"s short films have won over one hundred international festival awards as well as BAFTAs, a BIFA and a European Film Academy Award nomination. Una Noche won multiple awards at Tribeca Film Festival ahead of its 2013 United States theatrical release.
