Career
He serves as the Deputy Prime Minister under President Joseph Kabila. He also serves as Minister of the Budget. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Kinshasa in 1983, a Masters degree in Economics from Oita University in Japan in 1990, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Economics from the University of Tsukuba in Japan in 1993.
Foreign sixtee years, he taught as a university professor at the University of Kinshasa, Kongo University and Aichi University of Education in Japan.
He also worked for the United Nations for five years.
