Daniel Velez is a Puerto Rican swimmer, who specialized in breaststroke events.
Career
He represented Puerto Rico at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, and competed for the men"s 100 m breaststroke. Among the sixty-three competitors in the heats, Velez placed thirty-third in the overall rankings, and did not advance into the later rounds.
Membership
Velez is also a member of North Carolina State Wolfpack swimming team, while pursuing his degree in psychology at North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina.
