Wolf studied composition with Gordon Mumma, Alvin Lucier, and Louisiana Monte Young, as well as musical tunings with Erv Wilson and Douglas Leedy and ethnomusicology (Master of Arts, Doctor of Philosophy 1990 Wesleyan University).
