Educated Middlesex School, Concord, Massachusetts. Student Harvard Architectural School.

Career

One son by previous marriage, Daniel H. III. Partner with father in firm of D. H. Burnham & Company until his father’s death, 1912. Reestablished D. H. Burnham & Company, 1917. Burnham and Hammond, Inc., since 1933, post president.

Firm architects of Bankers’ Building, Carbide & Carbon Building, several new hospital buildings for Presbyterian, St. Lukes, Evanston hospitals, also schools.
