Career
Tachokawa entered Shanghai Branch of Mitsui Bussan Kaisha (Mitsui Product Company or Mitsui & Company) in 1906. Later he joined the newly established Doko Spinfring Company and became its manager in 1922, director vice-president and finally president in 1939.
Tachikawa served as president of Kyushu Bomo Kaisha (Kyushu Net Spinning Company) in 1947. Then he was reappointed president of Doko Spinning Company in 1950 and chairman of Dai-ichi Spinning Company since 1951. Danzo also held several additional posts including that of president of Nihon Boseki Dogyokai (Japan Guild of Spinning Industry).
