Achievements include discovery of a novel pathway of DNA recombination catalyzed by two classes of proteins-SSDNA binding protein and DNA helicase, DNA helicase is able to catalyze recombinational DNA repairthrough its role in strand exchange, providing a pathway distinct from nucleotide excision repair. Member American Society Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.
