Career
Hunt played for Nevada in the Mountain West Conference of the National Collegiate Athletic Association Division I from 2008 to 2012. Going undrafted in the 2012 National Basketball Association draft, Hunt signed his first professional contract with British Columbia Odessa of the Ukrainian Basketball SuperLeague the same summer. In February 2013, he moved to Austrian League side University of British Columbia Güssing Knights where he finished the season.
The American returned home for 2013-2014, spending the season with the Rio Grande Valley Vipers of the National Basketball Association Development League after they drafted him in the first round of the 2013 National Basketball Association Development League Draft in November 2013.
He became a crucial part of the Vipers thanks to his athleticism and rebounding, finishing the season with 8 points, 7 rebounds and 1 block in around 21 minutes per game after 41 games. In August 2014, Hunt moved to Upea Capo d"Orlando of the Italian Serie A.
On July 31, 2015, he moved to another Serie A club in Juvecaserta Basket.
