Career
He was noted for his aggressive, hard-nosed defensive play more than his offensive prowess. In 681 career professional games he racked up 1735 penalty minutes to go along with 131 points, and often played in a defensive tandem with more flashy defensemen such as Börje Salming and Doug Wilson. He retired in 1983.
