Career
Dave McConnell"s position of choice is as a hooker, but he can also cover at stand-off/five-eighth, scrum-half/halfback, second-row, or loose forward/lock. He has previously played for Saint Helens and London Broncos in the European Super League. He has also played for Chorley Lynx and Rochdale Hornets.
McConnell is a Scotland international.
He was named in the Scotland training squad for the 2008 Rugby League World Cup. He was named in the Scotland squad for the 2008 Rugby League World Cup.
