Career
He played as a catcher for the Los Angeles Dodgers (1982-1983) and Boston Red Sox (1985-1987) in his brief major league career. In addition, Sax played winter ball with the Navegantes del Magallanes club of the Venezuelan League in the 1983-1984 season. He later made a brief appearance for the Daytona Beach Explorers of the Senior Professional Baseball Association in 1991.
