Career

He was wicket-keeper in all five Tests. Born in Hastings, Christ Church, Barbados, Allan played first-class cricket for Barbados from 1955-1956 to 1965-1966, and toured England with the West Indies teams in 1963 and 1966. He played two Tests against India in 1961-1962, one against Australia in 1964-1965, and two against England in 1966.

Achievements

• He won four Scottish Cup medals with the club in 1881, 1884, 1886 and 1890 and played in the club's FA Cup finals of 1884 and 1885.
