Career
Born in Sunderland, Corner played for Sunderland, Cardiff City, Peterborough United, Leyton Orient, Darlington and Gateshead. Corner has been blamed by football writer Jonathan Wilson for Sunderland losing the 1985 Football League Cup Final to Norwich. He also participated at the 1985 Fédération internationale de football association World Youth Championship.
