He is the author of The New Old: How the Boomers Are Changing Everything..Again published by ECW Press on October 1, 2008 and Beyond Age Rage: How the Boomers and Seniors Are Solving the War of the Generations published by BPS Books on April 16, 2012. Cravit has been a frequent speaker at corporate and industry events concerning marketing and development. He has also been a guest on multiple radio and television shows, including On the Lincolnshire on Crossroads Television System and SqueezePlay on the Business News Network.
Cravit has contributed to numerous professional journals and writes a blog for The Times of Israel as well as his official website DavidCravit.com.
Prior to joining ZoomerMedia, Cravit was a partner in Saffer Cravit & Freedman Advertising, which he helped take from start-up to over $150 million in annual billings. The agency had offices in Toronto and Chicago, and was recognized as a leading retail specialist agency in North America.
After selling his interest in Saffer Cravit & Freedman, Cravit worked as an independent consultant to other advertising agencies in Canada and the United States of America, before joining ZoomerMedia in November 2005. With over 30 years of advertising, marketing and consulting experience, Cravit has been recognized as a leading expert in his field, having participated at the most senior levels in the creation and placement of over $5 billion worth of media advertising.
A native of Toronto, Ontario, Cravit was educated at the University of Toronto, where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science.
