The books often involve famous events and people from history, such as Jack the Ripper and Czar Nicholas II. Golemon's book Legend was a New York Times bestseller.
David L. Golemon is the New York Times bestselling author of over a dozen novels. His adventures of the famous Event Group series has been translated into seven languages and the series has soared to heights that very few action series ever achieve. 2018Golemon learned an early love of reading from his father, who told him that the written word, unlike other forms, allows readers to use their own minds, the greatest special effects machines of all - an idea Golemon still believes. The only thing he loves more than writing is research, especially historical research, and he sees the subtext of his Event novels as being that understanding history allows us to create a better future. After many years of the real world, at some point, David L. Golemon felt it was time to move on and create worlds of his own, worlds he can more readily understand more than the one in which we live. His belief and the subtext of all his Event novels is that by understanding our past and figuring out our present by understanding our past, makes figuring out our present (and creating a better future) a little easier.
Golemon wanted to write since he was 9 years old. He would read history books and dream up an alternate (and happier) ending. He says his love for writing is only matched by his love for research. Golemon's influences include Edgar Rice Burroughs, Tom Clancy, Clive Cussler, Larry Bond, and Stephen King.
David raised three great children, Shaune, Brandon, and Katie Anne. After spending many years in Loveland, Colorado, he now makes his home on Long Island, New York.
