David "Dai" Thomas Harris born in Morriston, was a Welsh blacksmith"s assistant, and rugby union and professional rugby league football player of the 1900s, playing club level rugby union for Treherbert Reconstruction Finance Corporation, as a Centre, id est (that is) number 12 or 13, and playing representative level rugby league for Other Nationalities, and at club level for Wigan, as a centre, id est (that is) number 3 or 4, his death was registered in Neath district.

Dai Harris won a cap, playing centre, id est (that is) number 4, and scored the third try, for Other Nationalities in the 9-3 victory over England at Central Park, Wigan on Tuesday 5 April 1904, in the first ever international rugby league match.
