Career
Huxley first played ice hockey for Adelaide Avalanche of the Australian Ice Hockey League in 2005. During his first season Huxley played 12 games and recorded one assistant Huxley remained with the Avalanche until 2008 when the team folded.
Following the collapse of the Avalanche Huxley signed with the newly formed Adelaide Adrenaline.
In 2010 Huxley also joined the Adelaide Blackhawks of the South Australian A Grade, playing for both the Adrenaline and the Blackhawks during the season. Huxley was first called up to represent Australia in 2005 where he joined the national under-18 team to play at the 2005 IIHF World U18 Championships.
The following year he again played in the under-18 team to compete at the World Championships and also joined the national under-20 team to play at the 2006 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships. Huxley continued to represent Australia in the under-20 squad until 2009 where he moved up to join the national men"s senior team to play at the Ice Hockey World Championships.
He has since represented Australia at the Ice Hockey World Championships on two other occasions.
Huxley was born on 4 February 1988 in Adelaide, South Australia.
