(The application of economic outputs in the investment pro...)
The application of economic outputs in the investment process has become even more necessary as companies, industries, markets, and economies have become more international and more complex in character. This proceedings examines the nature of value-adding forecasts, the limitations of the forecasting process, and the strengths and weaknesses of alternative forecasting methods.

(One of the difficulties facing students of modern economi...)
One of the difficulties facing students of modern economics is the analytical notation and short-cut symbolism, its esoteric and often implicit conventions. This work explains the language of modern economic analysis to these students in a clear manner.

My early work was concentrated in the areas of economic growth and development, population economics, price theory and applied microeconomics, especially industrial organisation, including antitrust economics, public utility economics and the history of economic thought. Later on my interest began to focus on augmenting and incorporating microeconomics in the field of industrial organisation so as to explain and predict market structure, conduct (behaviour), performance and their interrelationships. I have been particularly active in recent years in theory formulation and hypotheses testing in a wide variety of antitrust and public utility economics areas so as to aid society in using its scarce resources more effectively in the formulation of public policy, In addition to writing numerous articles for professional economists, I have tried to keep non-specialists and non-economists informed about what is happening in antitrust, public utility, etc. areas.
