Career

He is best known for his work in comedy drama, which includes Number Offence, Inside Number.9, Fresh Meat, Beautiful People and Whites. He was nominated for another British Academy of Film and Television Arts for the second series in 2008. He directs commercials through Hungry Manitoba Productions.

Born in Belfast in 1967, he studied at Clare College, Cambridge and graduated (1989) with a First Class degree in Classics.

Achievements

David was presented with a British Academy Television Award for directing the first series of That Mitchell and Webb Look in 2006. In 2015, his United States gun control spot, "Playthings", won Best PSA at The American Institute of Certified Planners Show in New New York
