Career
He served as inaugural chairman of the party from 2003 to 2006. Kovács was born in Budapest on 15 March 1976 as the younger son of Doctor Etele Kovács, vice dean at the University of Physical Education (TF) and Valéria Végh, a former elementary school teacher. After the elections he was followed by Gábor Vona, Kovács became one of the deputy chairmen of the Jobbik.
He did not support the establishment of the Magyar Gárda, as a result he left the party along with two prominent founding members on 10 March 2008.
