Rose is a Scottish rugby union and professional Rugby League World Cup winning football player of the 1950s playing representative level rugby union for Scotland, and at club level for Jed-Forest Reconstruction Finance Corporation, as a Wing, id est (that is) number 11 or 14, and playing representative level rugby league for Great Britain, and at club level for Leeds, as a wing, id est (that is) number 2 or 5.
Career
He played Right-wing, id est (that is) number 2 in all four of Great Britain"s 1954 Rugby League World Cup matches, including Great Britain’s 16-12 victory over France in the 1954 Rugby League World Cup final at Parc des Princes, Paris on 13 November 1954.
