Career
David is the son of Stanley and Virginia Schumacher and was Born in Ottawa, Ontario Canada and later moved to Drumheller, Alberta where he completed high school after attending Saint John"s-Ravenscourt School in Winnipeg, Manitoba for his eighth grade. Upon graduating high school, David attended Berklee College of Music where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Music. After graduation from Berklee in 1992, David moved to Oakland, California where he founded the critically acclaimed jazz-funk group Junk.
The couple had a daughter, Paloma, in 2007.
