Chairman Republican Cook County committee, 1914-1915.

Elected judge Circuit Court, 1915, and five times successively reelected. Now serving term 1945-1951.

Appointed by Supreme Court, judge Appellate Court, 1917, and has since served continuously in Second and First divisions. Chairman Legal Advisory Board, 16th District, World War I.
