Murchie, Calcutt & Boynton traces its history to 1934, when Robert B. Murchie (1894-1975) opened his law practice in Traverse City, Michigan. As a successor to his practice, Murchie, Calcutt & Boynton is the oldest law firm in continuous existence in the Grand Traverse area.
