He played college football at Minnesota and San Jose State. At Serra, Eskridge lettered in football and track. As a running back, Eskridge tied Lynn Swann's school record of touchdowns scored with 38.
Eskridge was the West Catholic Athletic League Back of the Year as a junior in 2006 and was twice an All-Metro selection by the San Francisco Chronicle. Eskridge played three seasons of college football at the University of Minnesota from 2008 to 2010 for the Golden Gophers. At Minnesota, Eskridge rushed for 1,670 yards and 17 touchdowns on 451 carries.
He also made 36 receptions for 236 yards and made 2 kickoff returns for 36 yards. In 2011, Eskridge transferred to San Jose State University after his junior year. Sitting out the 2011 season per NCAA transfer rules, Eskridge played in 2012 as a senior for the Spartans.
At San Jose State, Eskridge ran for 1,025 yards and 11 touchdowns on 207 carries and made 11 receptions for 28 yards. Eskridge was a second-team All-WAC selection in the WAC's final season as a football-hosting conference. With the Spartans leading 22-20, Eskridge made a 1-yard touchdown run with 2:34 left in the game, and the Spartans led 29-20 after the extra point.
Eskridge graduated from San Jose State in 2013 with a B.A. in communication studies. Jacksonville Jaguars
On May 6, 2013, Eskridge signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars as an undrafted free agent. He was released by the team on August 27, 2013.
